Lezione di Pasta e Tiramisù a Varenna a Casa di un Local

This was the highlight of our trip! At first, we were concerned about arriving on time with transport uncertainties to Bellano, but our host Patrizia arranged the taxi when all others were booked and her location and family recipes were worth the trip! As a bonus, she sets up a picnic table in her garden with the stunning view of Lago di Como while topping your scrumptious pasta with local farm sourced cheeses and offered an appetizer as well as a bottle of Pinot Noir to enhance the experience! Just book it ! You’ll be so happy to did!

Patrizia and her husband were very welcoming and we made tiramisu and two kinds of pasta. They offered us wine with cheese and salami from the region and it was delicious. The whole experience was a lot of fun and we can’t wait to try at home. Their home is way way way up the mountain. Coming from Varenna it was a 25 min taxi ride up. ($80 r/t). The view was incredible and we ate our dinner outside overlooking the view. If booking off the Get Your Guide site, know that they say the class is in Varenna but after you book you find out it shows Bellano so we had to scramble to figure out how to get there. Message Patricia and she can ca. give you names and numbers of taxi drivers who know where she lives.

We had a great time at this cooking class! Monica was our host, and she met us right in the heart of Varenna in her private kitchen. It was just me and my husband in the class which was nice and very personal. We cooked tagliatelle and ricotta raviolis for dinner, as well as tiramisu for dessert. Monica was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this class to anyone traveling and staying in Varenna. I would also recommend doing this class around lunch or dinner time, so you don't have to worry about waiting for a table at the restaurants nearby in the busy season.

Patrizia was amazing. We took a taxi from Varenna to her home in Bellano. She met us at the taxi area and walked us to her house, which was lovely with a beautiful view of the lake from her garden. We then went inside to her kitchen, where we made tiramisu, and then 2 types of pasta. We made a spinach version which we turned into tortelloni, which was stuffed with a cheesy filling, and we made tagliatelle. She showed us how to make the pasta and how to roll it out, cut it and stuff it. She also made us an appetizer of foccacia, and some local cheese that she bought at local farms, along with some salami, all which were so delicious. She had already premade the sauces for the pasta. She then had us go down to her garden where she had a lovely table set and served us our dinner as each was completed. It was an amazing experience and totally worth every penny we paid.

An unforgettable night and an amazing experience that we would highly recommend. Patrizia and Luca were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed their company and kind hospitality. The food was delicious eaten in the garden of their beautiful family home with stunning views over Lake Como. Looking forward to trying out the recipes when we get home.

We had an amazing time with Patrizia in Bellano. Our family of four, including two older teenagers, had a blast. She's a great teacher and the location of her family home has incredible views. The food we prepared was wonderful. The other guests were fun. Just a note to check your spam on the day of the event to find an email from your host with all the directions and address.

Patrizia is an amazing host! She welcomed us into her beautiful home and taught our family of three how to make two pastas and tiramisu. The food was authentic, tasted amazing, and Patrizia made sure everything was perfect for us. This was our third stop in Italy and was the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Patrizia cooking class if you are in the area.

Our cooking class in Bellano with Patrizia and Luca was truly the highlight of our trip. They welcomed us into their beautiful home and made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They are the sweetest couple, and we could have talked with them for hours. Patrizia is an incredible cook and shared her passion, knowledge, and warmth throughout the entire experience. Everything was authentic, delicious, and unforgettable. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Lake Como area — it was one of the most special memories of our vacation.

Our experience with Patrizia was amazing. Our guide was absolutely incredible. We had some issues finding our way to her as it was our first time in Como and she was so helpful. She got us in touch with a cab driver and we were able to make it to our lesson. Her place is beautiful and so inviting. Learning family recipes was such a memorable experience for my birthday. We were taught to make Tiramisu (without alcohol, yay!) and two types of pasta. Patrizia was a gracious host and a very patient instructor as my husband and I learned but what made it absolutely incredible is getting to have a view of Lake Como while you enjoy some appetizers and her homemade foccacia on her balcony. Highly recommend. Just be sure to have access to a car. The class was the best part of our trip and I would say its going to be better than any fancy dinner you could go to.

My husband Jeff and I had the most amazing experience cooking with Patrizia and dining in her home! Her recipes were so delicious and fun to make. She showed us every step with details, and we had a great time talking and getting to know her too. The view of Lake Como and the mountains from her home is absolutely stunning, so the aperitivo snacks on her balcony were just perfect. This was our first trip to Italy and it was incredible! This was definitely one of the most deliCious and memorable meals of our trip. Thank you so much again Patrizia for such a special evening!

We had the most wonderful time with Parrizia! She greeted us so warmly. We started off with the best wine & local meats/ cheeses that we have ever had. She premade homemade focaccia for us to snack on while we enjoyed the view to relax. We made the most wonderful pastas, and cake. Parrizia was so kind while explaining how to make her family recipes..and the view was AMAZING! This was the highlight of our trip, and we could not recommend Parrizias cooking class more. 15/10✨

We definitely loved Patrizia’s presentation and her husband was very entertaining. Their house was super cool for cooking and the view was spectacular for our dining experience! The only situation that was frustrating and challenging was transportation to their house. Patrizia had contacted me to arrange a driver prior to our event as well as gave us drivers to contact. The problem was that they all were busy. In the end Patrizia helped us to secure transportation. Arranging transportation prior to class is imperative. Although the class is labeled Varenna (which is where we had our Villa) we wish it wasn’t as challenging.
