We were asked to change the time and meeting point from am to pm. This was inconvenient, we booked in plenty of time, but we agreed following several texts back and forth. There was a demonstration at the time we were due to meet, this was not the guide’s fault. He finally arrived on foot, quite late, asking us to walk to the transport. This was a good ten minute walk. We had already walked fifteen minutes from our hotel in 27c.. One of the seatbelts was too big and loose. The guide expected me to accept it, but I told him to sort it out, as I needed to feel safe. Eventually it was sorted. The tour was okay. At one stop, we were told we could get out and look at the scenery, so he could have a cigarette. We didn’t find him particularly professional. On the way back, he dropped us at least ten minutes away from the meeting point. We instantly regretted giving him a tip. I suffer with chronic pain and can’t walk too far, hence the car tour.
