Tour dell'Etna da Siracusa: Pranzo Siciliano e Degustazione Vini

This was a really great experience with a great tour guide who shared great insights about Mt Etna & the area. To be able to not only see, but to hike among some of the craters from previous eruptions of Mt Etna really was an amazing experience that I will always remember. In addition to hiking these craters, the cave experience, the lunch at the winery at the base of Mt Etna, and the time to see the Greek amphitheater at Taormina where additional experiences that just made the day even more memorable.

Mirko was truly excellent. Very pleasant, well informed and a very good driver and host. It’s important to set expectations. At my age I won’t be coming back k to Sicily so wish that I’d taken the cable car 🚠 up to the high craters. This wasn’t possible on this tour. We had a pleasant walk on the low slopes, but it was underwhelming. Base camp and snack picnic lunch was okay but lacked atmosphere.

Pour info il y a un monospace qui part de Siracuse et une jeep de catane. Et il ne faut pas partir de Siracuse nous avons mis plus de 3h pour arriver à l’Etna. ( bouchon) Mini balade du coup et bien vérifier sois même la météo. Car le mauvais temps n’empêche pas l’organisateur de vous en mener pour eu c’est juste un problème de visibilité ! Et le repas « fast food italien « plutôt pas mauvais.

Great trip. Andrea is an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable about the terrain and volcanoes. He picked us up in Siracusa. He provided interesting information on the drive to Etna. The trek on the mountain was fascinating. Difficulty level moderate. The lunch and wine tasting afterward were fantastic. Good food and a nice host at the restaurant. Highly recommend this activity
