Catania: bus hop-on hop-off per Aci Castello e Aci Trezza

The activity itself was very fun and it was amazing to see areas of Catania than otherwise we wouldn’t have seen. The bus was stopping in different areas of the city and we could rejoin the bus if we decided to stay in an area and see it. So the activity itself we would recommend. What it was a big disaster was the organisation. The agents were running up and down trying to figure out which bus was ours and which was was going where. There was a queue of around 30 people going from a bus to another and back to the first one. Agents shouting at each other on the street and making the experience anything but relaxed. When they finally found out which one was our bus we could not use our e-ticket so we were told we had to go to the office and have a printed one (when we had to show our e-ticket 3 times before and never were told about printing it …) Well, finally after more than half and hour we got in the bus and started to enjoy the tour.

I want to say I don't want to stay okay for 10 minutes, and then abandoned us even though we got back in plenty of time. it was only because of the very kind driver from the same company of coming on another bus that we were able to get to the next stop. at the next stop we had to wait 2 hours so we got something to eat which was very nice that was the best part of our tour. on the way back we thought we were going to make four stops per the map and we made zero stops and came back straight to the starting point so we missed many stops. the narration was way off and most of the time did not match what was going on around us or where we were on the route.
