Tour in Vespa nel Chianti con Pranzo Tradizionale Toscano

Our Vespa tour with wine tasting and lunch was fabulous! It was our favorite part of our trip to Italy! It was peaceful in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of crowds of tourists. The guides were wonderful and the instructions for driving the Vespas were clear. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants an adventure away from all the tourist attractions.

The tour was amazing and we all really enjoyed everything in the trip. The guides especially Alexa was so sweet and happy & they took good care of us. The hospitality was 10/10! What we were missing for it to be 5/5 starts was: Better lunch and more wines. We were only served red wine and not all of us were into red wine. The dessert was biscuits, which seems a bit “weak” and to easy.. It would have been lovely to stop during the Vespa tour to take some pictures of the beautiful landscape and the wine fields. And finally I would say that the Vespas could use a fix and a touch up.. I would recommend everyone to pay the €20 for insurance! But really really lovely tour, happy guides and beautiful beautiful beautiful location!

The day was enjoyable. Some parts are quite drawn out a bit. The vineyard is beautiful but was a big part of the tour so add that to the hour travel to get there and then the training and there’s not much Vespa riding. Also the riding test is done on gravel even though the actual Vespa riding is on road. No wonder Most people failed the test, gravel is scary at the best of times! Food basic, wine great. Our guide was funny but seemed a bit cranky. Is was good, not great

The Vespa part was fantastic. However we were grouped together at the meeting point with not just the 10 people on the Vespa tour but also a group doing wine tasting AND a group doing pasta making. We chose this Vespa tour because we thought getting a mini bus out of the city rather than starting on Vespas in central Florence would mean we would see more in of Tuscany. But being in such a big group added time and it was an hour to reach the organic farm. We then were all given a 45 minute tour of the wine making process. Not something I signed up for and being a non-drinker sober for 10 years not something I would choose! Finally on the vespas about noon and half an hour of people leaning how to drive. Then 90 min Vespa tour. Lunch with the big group was very average. Pasta in tomato sauce. Back in Florence at 3pm so 5 hours for a 90 min Vespa tour. I would try and skip the extras and just do the bikes.

I highly recommend doing this vespa tour! Dejan was a great guide and was very fun to interact with! They did a good job of teaching you how to drive the vespa and made sure you were good enough/comfortable before taking you out on the road. Actually driving on the road was much easier than the practice! We came back after ~ an hour ride and had a great lunch & wine.
