Padova Hop On Hop Off: tour in bus scoperto 24h

You can see all the highlights of the city in 50 mins. However, this particular bus doesn’t seem to make any stops, and I’ve found with all these hop on/off buses, getting a headset that works or works with both ears is challenging. It’s an ok way to get your bearings and see highlights, but if you have time, a map, and can walk, it’s likely better to see things that way.

We hopped on to get a tour and then jump off at the train station to catch our train back to Rome (3 hr 30 min). This was the last train from Padua to Rome of the day. The audio kept cutting out and would start back up and everyone was looking around, not sure what we should be seeing or what the narrator was addressing. I think it was out of sequence. Then, our driver did NOT stop at the train station (stop #9). We were on the top of the bus, so couldn't get down the stairs fast enough. When we were pulling off, we ran down and begged him to stop. He let us off at some market. We had to find another bus or taxi to take us to the train station (now a mile away). We grabbed a public bus, got to the train station just as our train arrived. We almost missed it. I would never do one of these again in any city. Total waste of money.

This is the WORST tourist attraction I have ever been on! First of all the bus was all wet and dirty inside, seating had water on them and dirt. The head set was not working so we didnt have a guided tour. There was an issue with the side installation. We were sitting on the top and the tree branches were hitting us on the head and face… dangerous if one the brances ends up in you eyes. I would love it if I could go that hour of my life back, not to mention money (15eur)! Definatelly not worth the time and the money.
