Corso di Cucina Siciliana a Taormina con Visita al Mercato Locale

Really lovely experience with Mauri - there was no market tour but honestly I was grateful for this. We did the evening class (so market is closed at that time) and made three types of fish, pasta, egg plant parm and actually went in the industrial active kitchen. 9 people so not too large. Delicious food with wine and good company. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful cooking class! Even though the market was unfortunately closed, I honestly didn’t feel like we were missing out on much. The chef brought such positive energy to the whole experience and made everything run smoothly while keeping the atmosphere fun, relaxed, and engaging. The food was absolutely delicious, and throughout the class we received lots of interesting information, useful tips, and explanations about the ingredients and dishes we were preparing. You could really feel the chef’s passion and enthusiasm, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had a great time, learned a lot, ate amazing food, and left with very positive memories. Definitely an experience I would recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! What a class!! And Luka and Alex were amazing and patient chefs!! Which we needed because we were making a full on mess. Met amazing people, wine was plentiful, made all sorts of dishes and had the best time. Would definitely recommend and would definitely repeat. The complimentary souvenir apron and certificate of completion were the icing on the cake! Fantastic!!

We really enjoyed the cooking class. The class started with a tour of the local market - I think this part could be skipped as it did not add much to the quality of the experience. There was only 1 vegetable stall open. We then were taken to the restaurant to meet Chef Paulo. Paulo was a brilliant teacher - very enthusiastic, funny and knowledgable. We enjoyed making local Sicilian dishes and had a lovely feast at the end to enjoy with plenty of wine.

This cooking class exceeded our expectations. We have taken cooking classes on other vacations, but it’s usually been like pizza or pasta. What made this class special, was the fact that we were cooking traditional Sicilian dishes and, we had a very friendly, polite, energetic, and informative, cooking teacher named Paulo. He was knowledgeable and provided great instruction and was funny as well! We could not have had a better experience. Thank you Paulo, for the great cooking class in Taormina ♥️🤍💚
