Roma: Tour in Vespa Self-Drive con Gelato

We chose a self drive option, slightly nervous given I hadn’t rode a moped for a few years. But so glad we did it. The guide was great, the experience of riding a Vespa through Rome was unforgettable and easily the best experience we had on our trip. We saw some wonderful sights all whilst being given information and history from the guide who was brilliant. We would do this again, just for the riding nothing else!

Manuel was an amazing guide, full of knowledge and passion. He took us to places off the tourist track and explained not only the monuments and what they were but also the history behind them. There were 6 of us on his tour. A family of 4 and the 2 of us. He was great with the kids as well. We did self drive on the Vespa and as tourists it was helpful to have someone to follow but we also noticed Dominic in the other Vespa was making sure we were ok by protecting us from other drivers. This Vespa tour was probably the best tour we have done not just in Italy but anywhere. I would highly recommend doing this tour if you get a chance. If you can’t drive a Vespa then go on the back of a guide or in a side car as it would be great as well. By the way the gelato was delicious. Thank you Manuel for your knowledge and guidance, we really appreciated it. From Sally and Simon (Australia)

This Vespa tour was hands down the best part of my trip to Rome! Riding through the city on a Vespa with our amazing guide Manuel was an unforgettable experience. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and took us to the most beautiful hidden spots that I never would’ve discovered on my own. From stunning viewpoints to charming backstreets, every moment felt magical. I had so much fun and felt like I was living in a movie. If you’re coming to Rome, don’t miss this tour—it’s an absolute must!
