It was great our guide was lovely, extremely knowledgeable and very personable, she made the whole visit memorable and we were lucky we had the early slot so basically a private tour, early in the morning before the scorching heat. We even saw fresh grapes picked and harvested and on route to the starting process. Absolutely amazing. This is not the kind of thing we would usually do but just knew it would be a wasted opportunity not to visit and both the Medici villa and the wine tasting and did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Giulia, was exceptional with not only with her knowledge but with her professionalism, hospitality and demeanor. Of all of the ‘tours’ we have participated over the years, this was the most enjoyable, interesting, comprehensive and fun for both my wife and myself, and she fully engaged with my three daughters, 23, 25, and 28.
