Venezia: Tour in Motobarca sul Canal Grande

I was debating between this tour and the gondola tour. I decided to go with this one, because I was hoping this one would be better as it was a guided, while the gondola one is not guided. it turns out, this is completely different from the gondola tour. This tour went around outside of the island, then along the grand canal. You could see all buildings including the Palazzo Santa Sofia. To this point it is good, but it is not what I have expected. So I had to take the gondola again, and this time the gondola went under neath a few small bridges, while travelling along narrow rivers. This is what I have expected. I am not saying this tour is not good. I am saying it is different from I have expected.

Abgesehen davon sehr empfehlenswert!

This was a very good way to spend an hour on a lovely boat with a very lovely knowledgeable guide who took us around the outside of the harbour and then dropping in at the top to go the grand canal. So much to see and lots to take in. Very good value and worth it. You have to swap your electronic ticket for a paper ticket right where the tour starts. We got there 15 minutes early. Everything was on time and worked perfectly. Another excellent trip through Get Your Guide

We booked this Grand Canal tour expecting beautiful views, but instead, we got trapped in a closed-roof boat that felt like a sauna. We couldn't see the sights we paid for. On top of the terrible boat conditions, the company delayed our start time from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. This was a huge source of anxiety for us since we had a 7:30 PM train to catch. A complete waste of time and money, and an unnecessary source of stress.
