Tour di Pompei e Vesuvio da Sorrento: Storia e Natura

This was a good tour, it was nice to see the highlights of this Pompeii with a guide as well as Mt Vesuvius in the same day. My only complaint is the time at Mt Vesuvius should definitely be a little bit longer as it takes a while to get up there and as soon as we did, had to come back down and not really get to enjoy it. Also I felt the description of the excursion didn’t really explain how steep / long the walk up to the top was. It was fine for us but just be aware for those that may not be as mobile.

Cynthia was a very good and engaging guide, she explained the geography and history with a lot of knowledge and passion. We had people from all over the world in the group and everyone was able to follow her instructions and explanations. Pompeii is extremely busy and full, but the guides were able to navigate it pretty well and gives a lot of information about it. The Vesuvius is a steep climb, have to be very careful with loose rocks and if possible, wear climbing/trekking shoes that allow for extra grip.

We enjoyed this trip, which was exactly as described. Our guide was good, navigating us round efficiently. Would have liked more time in Pompeii so missed some of the sights but did know it was 2hrs. Only gripe was lunch where our family had to sit separately as couples sat at tables of 4 and wouldn't move. Restaurant staff and guide weren't helpful helping us. It is an expensive trip but does take all the hassle out of the day.

Amazing day, the tour guide was passionate about his work and so kind and informative. The tour was beautiful, and the lunch was incredible. I felt there was plenty of time at both locations, allowing me to walk all the way around the crater and enjoy a drink before boarding, while also exploring Pompeii with Tony’s guided tour was fun and informative. I would love more time at Pompeii but that’s just the nature of the place. You could spend a whole day there. Bus driver was so skilled and I felt safe the whole day. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone.
