Venezia: Tour a Piedi Mattutino tra Gemme Nascoste e Sedi Storiche

The guide was a lovely person but she failed to give history and reasons why things were 'special' Other tours (even our own tour that was in another language, the guide was talking non stop, our guide we felt did not give details). From our precious tours with other guides on this trip, guides pulled out the most important details and have reasons. Felt we did not gain an insight into Venice & on this tour.

I really like the way the tour was organised. The audio device was the best idea as it would have been impossible to hear a single word once the crowd increased. I also like that the tour started before the crowds so atleast half of it was a nice walk. The guide was a woman with short hair, sorry that I forgot her name. She made the tour interesting and gave some very good past and present anecdotes. As a complete new tourist in Venice this tour gives a nice insights into the wonderful stories of Venice.

Our guide Silvanna was a terrible guide. First of all barely any introduction, most of the tour she spoke and behaved in a way that looked like we are an inconvenience to her. She made a lot of rude and inappropriate comments and remarks. Not much history in this tour at all, a bit more of history would be nice. Did learn a lot of interesting facts about architecture though. Out of the many walking tours that I have been on, so far this one was the worst
