Da Firenze: Siena, Cortona, Montepulciano e Val d'Orcia

We really enjoyed the farm and lunch visit. We could have skipped Cortona as we were there so early, not much was open. It didn't take very long to walk through town. It was an hour there where as we would have appreciated more time in Montepulciano. We enjoyed the wine tasting but then we only had 15 minutes to see Montepulciano. We did enjoy the extra time in Siena. For us we could have skipped the Val D' Orcia. It was just ok maybe it would have been better in the summer. The tour guide was great! She did an excellent job driving and telling us the history although it was hard to hear her from the back seat. We did appreciate the way she worked with us when I discoveredI I had picked the wrong pick up point. We were able to make new arrangements.

I would have liked a little more free time in Montepulciano - that felt rushed. Ned was very accommodating of people wanting to explore and relax at the vineyard/pig farm, but I feel that should have been cut short to allow more time to explore Montepulciano. I would have been willing to leave Florence 30 Min earlier in order to have more time at the towns.

We had a very relaxing day on this small group tour while seeing all the sites and cruising through the Tuscan countryside with our knowledgeable guide Tony. The family farm we visited was the highlight of the day, best wine we tasted and the little piglets were adorable. I strongly recommend a small tour group like this one as the larger tours have 50+ people crammed into buses and most of the day is spent walking/getting on and off the bus, but not this tour! There was only 6 people on this tour in a minivan so our day was tailored to our experience. Hoping to do this tour again someday!

This tour was fantastic and I would say the best that we have done in Italy. The route was very well designed traveling through the incredibly beautiful Tuscan countryside enroute to the various towns. We were very lucky to have Francesca as our guide! She was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and welcoming. We can't say enough about how wonderful Francesca was and made our Tuscany tour one that we will never forget. If you're considering visiting Tuscany for a day, this tour is a must.
