Escursione sull'Etna a 3000 mt: funivia, jeep 4x4 e guida vulcanologica

We wanted to experience Mount Etna up close. The volcano was active, and smoke spewed throughout the entire five-hour trek. However, for those expecting a walk in the park—this isn't it. I'd rate the difficulty level as moderate to challenging. We were provided with hiking boots, jackets (important! don't skip these!), and trekking poles (same goes for these), and started the day with the cable car and 4x4 vehicles. We climbed and had plenty of adventures along the way. It was wonderful! Our guide was nothing short of excellent… Highly recommended!

We have just returned from Mt Etna and it was a totally amazing experience. It can be challenging in spots particularly the first climb up, but our guides were amazing and kept the pace ensuring all participants were able to keep up. Lots of interesting information about the volcanic activity too. Our guide was Tiziana and another fellow - just wonderful thank you for a terrific day.

The guides were incredibly friendly and insightful ! We didn’t got lucky with the weather but that is none of the guide’s fault. However, it should be precised to bring gloves or be provided by the excursion because we were extremly cold despise the jackets. You should also know that the language isn’t guaranteed, we asked for a french tour during reservation but the french speaking guide wasn’t there this day.

the tour was great fun, the guide explained everything very well. the hike is not too difficult and they wait for everyone. we were a bit unlucky with the group, not everyone was very well prepared (had no water and food etc.). we had to wait for them a couple of times because one person had an asthma attack. maybe a tip for the organizers: to ask about any medical conditions on the paper you have to fill out when you rent the shoes? at least that way people know about it in advance. but overall would definitely recommend!
