The pick up location for the bikes was very easy to find and just in town. We did not have to wait and it was nice that we could pick up the bikes anytime after they opened. We originally booked for manual bikes and we were able to upgrade in person to e-bikes for an additional, and reasonable, cost. They provided a bike lock and helmets upon request. The bikes themselves did have some issues. Mainly, the chain fell off both bikes. So if you try this don’t let the pedal go backwards and bring something to get the chain back on as they’re very greasy. We biked into Monopoli which was beautiful. The ride required some of the distance to be on a major road so just be careful going that way and find the detours to stay on less major roads or near the water which often also have bike lanes.
