Tour del Campo di Battaglia di Cassino e Montecassino con Guida Storica

Fantastic and very moving. Anna’s explanation and description of the campaign at Cassino was very interesting and informative. We wanted to visit because my husband’s father was a Royal Engineer in the British army who fought there in WW2. The tour highlighted the strategic importance of this area and way the campaign developed. Thank you Anna for a wonderful experience that will always remain with us.

Our guide Anna was very kind and taking the time to explain in details history surrounding Cassino and the WW2 battles. She answered any of our questions and went beyond with detailed information. She drove safely on the road and showed us very good angles of the surrounding areas around Monte Cassino that captured the energy of the past decades. RIP soldiers of the Commonwealth which we had the opportunity to pay respect to at the commonwealth cemetery. Wonderful monastery at the top of mountain with nice view around the valley.

The tour was most likely informative and was exactly what I wanted. Anna provided a really good explanation of Cassino and the issues around the battle, and the consequences for both the armies and the local people caught up in the fighting. Very knowledgeable and, as important, very personable. I would highly recommend this specific tour.

This tour was amongst the best I have experienced. Anna, the tour guide is friendly and helpful and clearly an expert on the battles of Monte Cassino. Her level of knowledge is outstanding and communicated clearly. Anna makes the tour relevant to the participants in terms of historical knowledge and personal connection. I would highly recommend this tour4 with no reservations
