Da Siena: Pisa, San Gimignano e Chianti in un giorno

we started our trip piazza san domenico 11am siena next stop chianti next stop san gimignano next stop pisa home 8pm. tour should have started at least 1.5hr earlier. there wasn't enough time in san gimignano only 1hr and also pisa was only 1.15min. not enough. the tour guide in chianti was amazing explaining everything things but even he had to rush because our tour guide bus had to leave. our tour lady for the rest of trip her English not so good and didn't explain alot of things to many to mention. it also was a hot day 35 and I was sitting back of 12 sester van air-conditioning wasn't working. I have travelled to Cambodia even in those countries when its hot as soon as you walk into bus they give you complimentary bottle water that's been in there esky. the last hr travel in diff van was very comfortable and nice. food at chianti was plenty. and nice. pisa and san gimignano is beautiful definitely a place to visit

Escursione un po’ sfortunata a causa della rottura del mezzo durante il viaggio ma sia l’autista che le guide hanno risolto in tempi brevissimi consentendoci di proseguire. A titolo informativo avviso,per chi parte da Siena, che il tour è inserito in un altro tour che parte la mattina presto da Firenze, quindi se al punto di ritrovo non trovate nessuno non preoccupatevi che poi arrivano. Le guide sono state molto disponibili e preparate, in particolare le due ragazze. Un ringraziamento speciale va alla guida che mi ha poi riportato a Siena, in quanto, essendo il mio pullman arrivato in ritardo, il passaggio per Siena da Firenze era già partito. Unico critica è che secondo me c’è troppa roba, mi è dispiaciuto stare così poco a San Gimignano.

The tour had started in Florence and arrived in Siena with no double seats available If talller than 5,8” you won’t fit in the bus seats your knees will rub on the seat in front of you Total trip 5 hours on the bus just 3 by 1 hour stops Wine factory OK but wines over priced for factory style wines Village stop just long enough to walk to the top of the hill and back Pisa by the time you have walked 17 mins from bus stop there is not enough time to actually go in any of the fabulous buildings and walk back The route passes many interesting landmarks but there is no commentary Poor value and not sufficient time and no commentary of interest

la ns guida Julia e le sue colleghe sono state eccellenti. abbiamo avuto un problema alla partenza non riuscendo a prendere in tempo il pullman. abbiamo optato incontrandoci direttamente al ristorante che, a parte la qualità dei vini, per il cibo è stato deludente. poi abbiamo seguito il pullman c9n la ns macchina e ci hanno aspettato per dandoci cmq spiegazione del posto..

Es hat mir nicht gefallen, dass ich zwei Tickets gleichzeitig gekauft habe und sie es trotzdem nicht organisieren konnten, dass wir zusammen im Bus sitzen.Die Zeit, die wir in Chianti verbracht haben, hätte kürzer sein können, damit wir mehr Zeit in Pisa und San Gimignano haben.Die Guide war nett und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben, was wir probieren sollen und worauf wir achten sollen.

The day was great! The guides (Marco and Alessia) were lovely and very engaging. The experience at the winery Poggi Al Laughi was very interesting, and tasting the various wine and vinegars was great even as someone who doesn't really like wine. San Gimignano was breathtaking, and doing all the goofy photos at Pisa was fun. My only critique of the tour is that we didn't know that it started in Florence. So when we boarded the bus in Siena, the bus was already full of people who started in Florence and the empty seats left were all singles which meant that my friend and I (as well as others who boarded in Siena) weren't able to sit together for the driving parts of the tour. It would have been great to know this would happen before booking because it was quite disappointing. Besides that, the tour was great fun. And I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and/or the beautiful Italian countryside.
