Capri: Tour in Barca dell'Isola e Grotta Azzurra Opzionale

It was lovely to see the Island of Capri from the coast and we had a very entertaining tour guide pointing out things of interest. We didn’t get to see the blue grotto because of the number of boats already waiting- but this possibility was well documented when I booked. It’s worth noting that if you purchase your tickets through this app you still have to find the company office to pick up your physical tickets. The office is difficult to find- it’s literally a window in the wall behind the pier - don’t queue for the boat without your physical ticket they won’t let you on.

The tour company actively tried to misguide about the tour. Blue Grotto is part of the tour although optional. When we went to ask about it, they first said we have to pay an additional Euro 46. When I insisted that it was part of the tour then they started saying it was dangerous to visit Blue Grotto, it was not open etc. we had passed by the Blue Grotto just 15 minutes back and had seen the small boats going in. When we kept insisting they said we can avail the boat service from Dock 0. This tour company is a sham! I wouldn’t recommend taking this!
