Top of Rome: Tour da Civitavecchia per Croceristi - Scopri i Luoghi Iconici

Was not specified that we would switch to a hop on hop off bus or I never would have purchased. Description states that we would be dropped off at St Peters Square and have like 90 minutes. We had 30. Then bus would pick us up and take us to Circus Maximus from which we could walk to Coliseum. That didn’t happen. It took us over 90 minutes to go from St Peters to Circus Maximus. Had to wait over 20 minutes for a change of bus drivers and we circled the same square 3 times. After finally reaching Circus Maximus we had 20 minutes to purchase something at a local place so we could use the facilities. Not pleased at all. We spent more time on a bus than visiting anything.

We enjoyed the personalized service. Even though there was a strike our guide worked hard to find interesting sights to see. She was extremely sorry other sights had to be missed due to the strike and demonstrations. We had a wonderful time even though there were unexpected challenges. We had a nice lunch at a local cafe just off the Vatican. Overall we made the best of our short time there. Our guide was awesome.
