Degustazione di Olio d'Oliva a Nicolosi

The Tour consists of a tour through the olive and grapes on the vulcano hills with a little bachground information on the history of the vulcaic activities and a tour tgrough the production of olive oil. Very interesting to see the new and old machines. 2nd part is the oil tasting where you learn the difference between the different oils. It was stunning that there are so huge difference in taste if you know how to correctly taste oil. It was accompanied with different food (cheese, fruits, jellies, bruschetta...) to find interesting and surprising pairings with the different oils. My Favourit was oil nr.01 with pecorino. I highly recommend the tour, bring some hunger because its a lot of food to try.
