Grotte di Castellana e tempo libero a Polignano a Mare

Zwiedzanie grot rewelacja. Natomiast transport na miejsce za wcześnie - na miejscu byliśmy przed godziną 10.00 a wstęp na zwiedzanie grot od 11.00. Ponad godzinę czekania (nie ma w okolicy atrakcji do zwiedzania). Natomiast czas wolny na zwiedzanie Polignano a Mare był przewidziany na 1.5 godziny a była 1 godzina. To trochę za mało biorąc pod uwagę, że od środka transportu trzeba było dojść do centrum atrakcji. Czas na samo zwiedzanie było naprawdę mało.

Our driver was 20 minutes late arriving to the pickup location. The transfer to the caves involved several pickup and drop off stops for other tours along the way. Even still we arrived 50 minutes before our cave entry time. The tour of the cave was over 2 hours and with the transfer time to Poligano a Mare after, that left only an hour to spend there.

Les grottes de Castellana sont magnifiques et notre guide était super. Mais il faudrait revoir le planning... Visite programmée pour 11 heures (elle a commencé avec 15 minutes de retard) La visite dure 2 heures et la route en bus jusqu'à Polignano 30 minutes... Le calcul est vite fait nous sommes arrivés à 13h45 à Polignano pour repartir à 15h!! Nous avons eu tout juste 1 heure pour visiter et manger ce qui est vraiment très peu et trop rapide. 2h30 de libre avait été annoncé... Nous sommes déçu de l'organisation. Mention spéciale pour notre chauffeur de bus qui a été très gentil et très patient car nous avons eu plus d'une demi-heure de retard (à la sortie de la grotte) Il ne nous a pas laissé tomber. I suggest that for this tour a guide will be present at the pick up point to avoid unnecessary delays since the driver wasn't aware that he had to take us to the Castellana Caves. He was very helpful but we had to inform him about our itinerary for example re the pick up points and when we had to meet after the Caves tour. Apart from that we managed to visit the Caves and Polignano and we suggest all those who will visit Puglia to have a look at these wonderful attractions!

A gruta é incrível, uma experiência única, mas evite vir com essa empresa. São muito desorganizados. Na ida, eles nas deixam a uma distância de 200 metros da entrada do parque, sem muitas instruções. Na volta, o motorista chegou no horário marcado, porém ficamos esperando por quase uma hora porque a empresa mandou o motorista esperar por outros turistas que eram de um horário muito mais tarde. O motorista parece ser boa pessoa, porém não fala inglês, e isso não é bom.

After some confusion when dropped off at the bus stop in Polignano, the driver called the company for us to clarify things and then we had a wonderful time! The caves were incredible and our driver was the best! He explained where to go at the caves and at what time and waited for us in the same spot. He was extremely professional and kind! I would highly recommend this tour!!!!

Der Fahrer war nett. Leider hat in unserem Bus die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert und es war sehr heiß im Bus. Wir waren zu dritt für die Tour durch die Grotten. Da ich italienisch spreche, bin ich gleich um 10 Uhr mit der italienischen Führung mit. Die Führung hat über 1,5 Stunden gedauert. Hätte ich die englische Führung um 11 Uhr, wie gebucht, genommen, hätte ich die Abholzeit um 12.30 Uhr nicht einhalten können. Die zwei Stunden in Polignano waren ausreichend und schön. Die Rückfahrt pünktlich um 15 Uhr war wieder sehr heiß. Die Grotten von Castellana sollte man unbedingt anschauen!

The transportation was very bad - they leave you in fornt of the caves 1 hour and 30 minutes before your time comes. There is not much to do there and you just sit around waiting for the tour to castellana caves to happen. The tour itself only buy's you the ticket to the caves,the stuff at the caves is actually the guide inside. Later we reach at Polignano a Mare - where it is mentioned that you will have two hours for sightseeing,but that's not true. You actually have less than 1h30m. In Polignano they leave at inconvenient place and then pick you up from a totally different spot,far form where they left you(hard to find even with Google Maps) The communication with the driver was also not good - there should be more things to be clarified about the tour,they do not explain much and cannot reply to simple questions. The driver itself was good as a person. THE ONLY GOOD THING, about the tour was the minivan with which we were transported and the actual caves and Polignano a Mare.
