Dal Milanese: Lago di Como e Bellagio in Bus con Tour Privato in Barca

Seemed like we got dropped off in places without much "guiding " in the towns We saw other tour groups that were getting more information from their guides like architectural aspects of the Duomo in Como were our guide just told us what time to meet to get back on the bus Probably 1/2 hour too long in Cuome and Bellagio- maybe because I wasn't interested in shopping

Everything in general. The morning boat ride to Bellagio was very relaxing. Then the visits to Bellagio (2h), Varenna (40 min), and Como (approx. 1h at the end of the tour). The ferry transfers were quick and seamless, not exhausting at all, even though we shared them with quite a few tourists. The guides we got (Miguel Ángel and Guillermo) were very friendly and gave us tips at all times. They were absolute legends. And a shout-out also to the bus driver who took us there and brought us back without any issues. I recommend this tour if you don't want to worry about buying tickets, especially during transfers from one place to another, so you can go directly to the sights you want to see. Especially if you only have 1 day for a round trip.

I really liked the tour. We were able to visit and see many things; above all, the transportation management was a pleasure because you don't have to worry about what to take or anything, since everything is organized and you just have to follow the guides. Maybe I would have liked a bit more explanation on a historical level and some small details, but it was great anyway. One thing to mention: the morning meeting point to catch the bus is not very clear, as the app says "Central Station" and the email says their office in the city center. Luckily, we arrived with plenty of time and were able to manage and take taxis, but it would be good to correct this for future visits so as not to confuse people. Miguel, the other girl, and Xavi were all lovely and very kind at all times. Thank you very much for this experience.

1/5 – Very disappointing and poorly organised Unfortunately, this tour was nowhere near what I expected for the price. The bus was old and, although the tour description stated that it had air conditioning, the AC was only available every few seats, meaning a large part of the bus had no effective air conditioning. Considering the extreme heat, this made the journeys extremely uncomfortable. We spent around 1 hour on the bus twice during the day, followed by approximately 1.5 hours on the way back — around 3.5 hours of the day spent on the bus in total. There was also no toilet on board. What made this even worse was that we were explicitly told to always use the toilet whenever we had the opportunity because there would be no toilet stops during the journey. We were told the reason there was no toilet on the bus was “COVID restrictions”, which is extremely difficult to understand in 2026. Imagine not even feeling comfortable having a coffee or drinking enough water because you’re constantly worrying about whether you’ll need to use the toilet during a long journey in the heat. The seating arrangements were also very poorly organised. There were repeated arguments about people wanting to sit alone or insisting on window seats, even when travelling with someone. My friend and I were travelling together, and there was no sensible system to make sure people travelling together could sit together. What made it worse was the contradictory advice from the guide. We were told not to leave anything on the bus because of the heat, but also told to remember our seats and return to the same ones. When we came back, there was no way to know which row everyone had originally been sitting in, which resulted in arguments and people refusing to sit next to others. If seats are not reserved, the system should simply be first come, first served, rather than creating confusion and telling people they can arrive later but will still get the best seats. The boat trip was also much less impressive than expected. I expected the boat portion to be a significant part of the experience, but it felt quite limited considering the overall price. The destinations themselves are beautiful, but unfortunately the organisation, transportation, comfort and value for money made the overall experience very disappointing. For the price, I expected a much better organised, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
