Lars was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The tour was well put together and very interesting in getting to know the history of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. We had booked the underground tour but didn't get to do that part of the tour however we were offered a 15% refund. Overall a great experience and the best way to see these monuments.

Our first guide, Francesca was excellent. She brought the Forum and the Palatine Hill to life. The sites are awe-inspiring and extensive. The colosseum is amazing and all are definitely worth a visit. We chose the underground tour too which was interesting but we were a bit disappointed that we didn't keep the same guide as the enthusiasm wasn't quite the same although I appreciate this is difficult when English is not your first language. The underground is definitely worth a visit though. Top tip ..comfy shoes. Palatine Hill is steep but the views at the top are incredible. It's a tour I would definitely recommend!

Our tour was broken out into two parts. The first was of the surrounding ancient city. The his for this half was excellent. Explained the history with humor and wit which the group all seemed to appreciate. The second part of the tour took place inside the colosseum. Now I don’t really know why it was broken up this way, but the second guid was not pleasant. She must have mentioned her credentials half a dozen times and she was not welcoming of questions. Had we had the first guid all the way through I would have given this a 5 stars

The tour was so in depth, be prepared to walk be amazed and be taken on a journey with lots of laughs. Gabe was our very hilarious and knowledgeable guide, highly recommend him! I couldn’t have asked for better service from the team we got lost prior and they guided us to the venue with minutes to spare. The team are responsive and so much want you to have an enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend this tour and the team!

The tour was amazing because our tour guide was very informative and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the map of coliseum and the forum. She knew where people can refill water, and she decided to tour the forum first which was a smart choice so we didn’t have to line up for a very long time to get in. We waited a little bit for the coliseum but it was short due to our skip the line tickets. We weren’t able to go underground due to the government regulations but they told us ahead of time and said they will refund a bit of the money.

This was a private tour for myself and two friends, well worth the extra cost then being in a group of 20 or 40 people. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible (she tailored what she showed and spoke of to what we found interesting). I do an assortment of my own exploration as well as small and big tours depending on what the circumstances are. This is one where I would recommend paying the extra amount and this was a great tour guide to do so with.
