Caccia al tartufo, degustazione e lezione di cucina ad Arezzo

The entire experience…from truffle hunting w truffle dog “Dynamo,” to the interesting tour of their production facility (Boscovivo produces about 2-dozen Tuscan-related products), truffle cooking demo, the fabulous 5-course lunch, the paired wines…was unique adventure. But perhaps most noteworthy was the engaging spirit every member of the staff…Silvia and Giuseppe primarily took care of our very small party…and they always limit participation in order to afford this personal interaction. Only available once each week on Thursday, plan and book this early!

We took part in a Truffle Experience through Boscovivo Tartufi which is near Arezzo. Silvia was a wonderful guide to help us learn all things truffle. We started with a tour of the factory; beginning with how they come into the factory, are meticulously cleaned and the manufacturing of a variety of truffle products. She was detailed on the process of assuring the quality of products from start to finish. We sat down to a feast of Truffle products. The pictures will not do justice to flavors on your palate. We then went truffle hunting on the property with Luigi and his specially trained dog, Dinamo. It a short time he found quite a few truffle most impressive in size! If you love truffles and are looking for an experience like no other while in Tuscany, we highly recommend Boscovivo for this experience. Of course we could not leave without some delicious products bring us back to the experience when we get home!
