Montecatini Terme: Degustazione di Vini e Oli Locali con Aperitivo

We were lucky enough to be the only ones booked in so we had Elena to ourselves. She was so knowledgable and really passionate about the wine and olive oil. We learned so much, although we’re unlikely to drink Prosecco ever again (go and you’ll understand why 🤭). The wines we sampled, in ample quantities, were delicious and the accompanying cheeses, meats and crostinis went so well with them. It was an absolute please meeting you Elena, thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge. Definite worth a visit if you are anywhere near.

We had the most wonderful and interesting couple of hours learning about the local oils and wines we tasted. The tasting board was also delicious. Elena and her father were knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The shop was very interesting with a super selection of wines, oils and the most gorgeous textile. We hope to return in the future.

Decided to book this activity having read good reviews. Had a great time here. It is a traditional family run business and we were looked after by the father and daughter. They were both great hosts with daugher doing most of the talking as she had better English. Tasted 3 lovely wines, 2 olive oils along with ham, cheese, bread and some other small snacks. There was more food than we were expecting. It was authentic and educational and there was no hard sell to buy anything although plenty of choice if you wanted to. Highly recommend.
