Biglietto d'ingresso al Pantheon con audioguida digitale

The meeting point for this activity was listed as the plaza. But the plaza is huge. I made two full circles and couldn’t find anyone. I emailed and messaged the guide company and was just told to meet in the plaza. Nothing about signage or how to recognize the guide. I purchased tickets through Get Your Guide to make it easier but it was way more difficult than buying directly online. In the end the guide wasn’t wearing anything that said they were with the tour company. And they had to call me to figure out where to meet. Oh and the audio never worked inside. Would not do again.

Our contact person did not show up at the designated meeting point. We were there early and started to ask around, but no one had heard of the company our booking was done by. I called the phone number provided in our booking, no one answered. At 5 minutes to our entry time of the Pantheon the person who was supposed to be there called and asked where I was. I told him we were at the meeting point at the Piazza. He then suggested another Piazza and I had to correct him. He said he had to be somewhere else, I don't know why. He sounded unprepared, and could not find my provided email address in our booking so I had to give it over the phone (which was not easy to en italien). Finally he sent us the tickets and QR-code to our audioguide by mail, and we walked to the Pantheon for our tour. If nobody could meet us like we had paid for, the company should have sent us everything earlier. The stress came from not finding out contact person and his very late excuse over the phone.

Horrible. We arrived at the designated meeting place 5 min early and waited for our guide. He never showed up. We asked around and found another guide from a different company who called the number for us and told us the guide was sick and would not be coming, but might call us. At 4:20 (20 min past our meeting time and 5 min past our tour start time), the guide called us and told us he would just email us the links for the tickets and audio guide. Had we not asked and the other guide not called him, I doubt we would’ve been able to go on our tour! Completely unprofessional!
