Tour in Barca sul Lago di Como di 4 Ore con Tappe a Bellagio e Varenna

This was an exceptional afternoon on the water. We were in a group of 12 and the boat ride was trilling. Fabio was lots of fun and had the best music play list. I will remember my experience for a lifetime. If you are frightened of speed boats going fast, this is not your tour. This element was the highlight for me. We saw the whole lake and all the important villas. We had an hour to explore both Verona and Bellagio. My personal opinion is that tourists numbers should be capped in these two areas as the crowd was so large, it was like being in a Congo line from one side of Verona to the other. To me this is absolutely bonkers. The best part was being on there with Fabio and listening to his stories. He lives local and knows this region very well. 10/10

Lake Como is beautiful and riding around in a boat was the best way to see the lake. Driver dropped us at Varenna and Bellagio for an hour each to walk around and explore. As for the boat, the location to meet was changed at the last minute, but the coordinator found us at the original spot and drove us to new location. 11 were packed onto a smaller boat which felt a bit crammed- our party of 4 were unable to sit together. Overall a good experience but not what I had expected for the $160e price paid.

The trip was a glorified and expensive transfer. The pick up location wasn't where the advert says. Received a text message for one location by Yana, then a different location by Pietro. Met Pietro and he didn't even speak to the group at all. The driver was lovely, but simply dropped you at Belaggio and said be back in an hour and then same at Verano. No tour just transfer. The one hour at each spot very rushed and could not enjoy. Prosecco moment was out of plastic disposable cups, and no sooner where they poured we took off to home base. As I said, overpriced transfer only take the fast ferry.

We loved this tour and especially our captain Fabio! The boat was really fast and the trip up the lake was a blast (though probably not best for those prone to seasickness). We had about an hour each in both Bellagio and Varenna (another 30-60 minutes in Bellagio would have been nice). On the return to Como, we stopped for info and photo ops at several historical sites and villas, and we enjoyed music and a beverage along the way. Fabio was the best and really made the trip special!

It was a good trip to explore lake Como in four hours. Suggestions for the organiser and travellers: the meeting point needs to be updated in the advertisement that it is a half hour walk to the boat from the advertised address, not 15 minutes. The other suggestion is to ensure to be on time or better to be earlier than what the captain said. I was only two minutes late for the departure time at Bellagio, the boat left without me. Although it came back to get me later, it was worrying as I didn’t know what would happen until I called the organiser. Other passengers said they saw me walking towards the boat while they were leaving.
