Ortona: Tour Guidato in E-bike sulla Costa dei Trabocchi

A fabulous activity! Our excellent guide, Tony, took us up into Ortona and then back down to the coastal cycle path and south along the Trabocchi coast past the stilted fishing platforms that give the coast its name. A number are now restaurants. A brief excursion inland to a beautiful hilltop Abbey and then return, all over a leisurely 4 hour slot. Tony was an excellent, informative, and lovely guide, and we were very lucky to have been the only two that had booked, so we had him to ourselves. I cannot praise the quality of the tour highly enough. The bikes were modern and made light work of any gradients although, as non-cyclists, the rear was a big tender after four hours in the saddle! A great half day trip - highly recommended.
