Cefalù: Tour in Barca da Costa a Costa

Activity was not offered as advertised. It was listed as a open bar which it was not and they only serve Prosecco and no beer or spritzer like advertise. Also only served watermelon and no appetizers like also advertise. Tour guide and his employee did not speak English so did not guide us or tell us about the caves and we only found out about those from other voters and had missed the deadline to go into those. Not a great experience at all. Horrible value for the money.

This activity felt like a scam. We arrived at the marina & were told that we would not be taking the pictured boat due to damage. This was ok until we heard the same man tell another couple that we were not taking the same boat today as there were too many people on board. The boat we got on was old & more like a cargo ferry. This same man introduced himself to multiple people as both Giovanni & Giuseppe which should have been a warning sign. We booked this activity as it said it was a smaller group of 10pax at our time of booking, but approx. 25 were on board. The notes say that there would be alcoholic drinks which we did not see. It says that there would be snorkelling which we believed meant we would see some form of aquatic being other than plain sand. The only positive of this tour was that many people felt sea sick (on relatively still waters) meaning the crew returned to the marina after 2hrs so we were able to end this trip early. This was the worst part of our time in Cefalu.

Nous sommes arrivés sur place et avons découvert que ce n’était pas du tout le bateau présenté lors de la réservation : il était beaucoup plus grand et nous étions donc loin d’être en petit comité. Le bateau avançait très lentement et plusieurs personnes à bord ne se sentaient pas bien. Au bout de 2 heures, le capitaine a finalement fait un arrêt pour permettre à ceux qui le souhaitaient de descendre. Plus de la moitié des passagers sont descendus à ce moment-là. Concernant le plateau de fruits frais annoncé, il y avait uniquement de la pastèque, ainsi que des boissons. Nous sommes très déçus de cette excursion et ne la recommandons pas. L’expérience ne correspondait pas du tout à ce qui était présenté lors de la réservation.

NO ES UN TOUR PRIVADO. teníamos reserva para 8 a las 2 30 y nos escribió Giovanni para decirnos que la reserva iba a ser a la5 30 porque según él había mal tiempo cuando las conduciones eran perfectas y nos lo dijeron otros capitanes. Cuando llegamos allí a las 5 30 Giovanni nos dijo que el tiempo era malo (no lo era) y que iba a juntar a todo el mundo en un barco más grande. A partir de ahí todo fue bien pero no era para nada lo que esperabamos

Esperienza da ricordare: la barca non era quella della foto, Giuseppe, citato nella conferma della mail, non c’era; un altro uomo lì vicino ha letto in velocità la mail da noi mostrata e ci ha indicato di seguire, in modo confuso e arrangiandosi in due secondi, che poi sarebbe stato il capitano della barca chiamata “Eva” (barca con a bordo già persone, per un totale di 40.. un po’ diverso dal “piccolo gruppo” per l’esperienza da noi prenotata). Insieme a noi, un altro gruppo aveva la nostra prenotazione, loro hanno scelto di non salire discutendo nel rimandare l’esperienza… noi invece non abbiamo potuto, in quanto era il nostro ultimo giorno di vacanza. Non abbiamo voluto rovinarci il “mood” e ce la siamo fatti andare bene lo stesso, nonostante questo, sicuramente l’esperienza da noi pagata era più costosa rispetto alla barca da 40 persone (giro completamente diverso da quello da noi scelto) promettono bagni nelle calette… e poi fanno su e giù.

Une expérience totalement mensongère ! Il était noté que c’était une excursion pour un petit comité (14 personnes max), finalement nous étions 43 sur un bateau… je m’étais fié aux images sur l’application mais ce n’étais pas du tout cela. Nous étions sur un gros bateau de pêche… Super la place pour s’étendre et profiter en petit comité. De plus, il était noté qu’on avait le droit à un bon apéro avec de l’alcool et du sans alcool… à part de la pastèque proposé durant les 3h et de l’eau, du spritz et du coca c’était très pauvre… Enfin, le tour était décevant. Il y a avait juste la grotte qui était super mais sinon, le guide nous a arrêté à 2 autres endroits aléatoires où il n’y avait rien à voir. Franchement c’était limite faisable à pied… Avant que j’oublie, j’avais sélectionné un « guide » en Français, j’attends toujours… Ils parlaient tous italien et surtout il ne faisait que conduire, il y a eu 0 explication. Donc le rapport qualité prix, 0
