Verona: Gourmet Food Tour with Dinner, Wine & Gelato

Really enjoyed our tour with guide Patricia, fabulous and plentiful food choices (though not all as stated on the itinerary on the app so may want to update that). Lovely wine and prosecco paired with the food. Patricia was a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable about the food, wine and the area and left us with some great recommendations for the rest of our trip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Eine tolle kulinarische Tour durch Verona Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Foodtour durch Verona mit Patrizia als Guide. Sie war sehr sympathisch, herzlich und hat uns mit viel Begeisterung durch die Stadt und ihre kulinarischen Spezialitäten geführt. Die Tour war abwechslungsreich und richtig lecker: regionale Wurst- und Käsespezialitäten, Bruschetta, Gourmet-Pizza, Risotto all’Amarone, verschiedene Weine – darunter natürlich Amarone und Prosecco – sowie Gelato und zum Abschluss Limoncello. 🍷🍕🍝🍨 Besonders schön war die lockere Atmosphäre. Unsere kleine Gruppe war international bunt gemischt mit Gästen aus Großbritannien, Irland, Hongkong und Deutschland, und man kam schnell miteinander ins Gespräch. Patrizia, ursprünglich aus Spanien und heute in Verona zu Hause, hat uns neben dem Essen auch viel über Verona und das Leben in der Stadt erzählt. Dadurch war es nicht einfach nur eine Verkostung, sondern ein rundum schöner und persönlicher Abend.

We booked this last minute when we arrived in Verona and so glad we did. It was a great introduction to the city and night out. The food and wine was fabulous as was the information given by our wonderful guide, Tecla. We had a lovely group and highly recommend doing this. Everyone is so friendly, with a mix of friends, couples and solo travellers! You can't go wrong!

What a great experience in Verona! 🇮🇹 Our guide Francesca was so knowledgeable, fun and articulate, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had 3 different guides for our tour at different points they would just hand us off to another person. My mother in law found a hair in her lasagna. We only visited places within 2 minutes walk of the main square and aside from the first bar, they all felt like tourist traps. The first guide was nice but the constant changing of guides was frustrating and at one point we were left waiting to figure out if the tour was over. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this tour, especially in the bad weather.
