Details and Practical Tips to Make the Most of the Experience:
Clothing: Dress in layers. In the mountains, the weather can change quickly. Wear a breathable top and always carry a light windbreaker with you.
Essential accessories: Don't forget sunglasses to protect yourself from the high-altitude sunlight and dust, and some sunscreen.
Footwear: Sturdy sneakers or lightweight hiking shoes (with a good sole) are ideal for getting grip on the pedals.
In your backpack: Bring a water bottle (there are very cool drinking fountains along the way) and your fully charged smartphone. The views of the Val Troncea will compel you to take dozens of photos!
