Sirmione: Fiat 500 Boat 40CV Rental, No Boating License Needed

This was a great activity I would highly recommend this, the boat was easy to drive and they instruct you well on everything you need to know. A couple of points, on here on gyg I couldn’t find an option to extend my ride beyond one hour but when you get there they are accommodating and were able to to extend it to two hours. Second, you can swim in the lake, they show you a recommended area and the water is fresh water not salt so it was nice. The boat has two seats at the front and two lounge chairs at the back for laying down. The only thing to note, if like me you wanted to take this out for sunset you can’t as the close by then, around 6pm, for sunset you’ll have to book and different boat tour with a driver.

This was such a fun activity to do and the boat did not disappoint. it was so easy to find the meeting point with directions provided and the staff were really helpful and friendly and are on hand throughout the experience if needed. you get a sat nav map (via your phone) to help with safes zones to stay within during the experience. we needed a little redirection at the start but soon got the hang of it. Views of the castle and simione from the boat are fab. I would highly recommend it

We absolutely loved the Fiat 500 boat experience! It was easily one of the highlights of our Lake Garda trip. You get an hour with the boat and do not need a boating license. We had never driven a boat before and loved how easy and stress-free they made everything. Before leaving the harbor, they explained how to drive the boat and use the GPS map showing the safe areas to explore. They then drove us out of the narrow harbor, and when we were finished, we called them and they drove us back in, so no docking required! The boat was so fun, with two loungers in the back and easy access for swimming. We got amazing views and photos of Sirmione from the water. We were nervous about the €300 cash deposit, but getting it back was easy. Everyone was friendly, their English was excellent, and the instructions were very clear. We had the BEST time and would absolutely recommend it!
