Chiarelli Rossotti Organic Winery Tour and Tasting in Alcamo

An exceptional experience from start to finish. The castle visit was very interesting and gave us a great insight into Sicilian history, but the real highlight was the meal and wine tasting afterwards. Sitting around the table, sharing food while discovering the estate’s different wines made the experience truly special. Hector was an amazing host: passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely enjoyable to listen to. We were a group of seven and we all agreed: this is absolutely worth the trip. Take the time to visit, meet the people behind the estate, and discover both their work and their history. Highly recommended!

The tour was very interesting and we learnt a lot from the guide about wine production and grape varieties. He had a very engaging manner and used language & terminology which was easy to understand - he really did make the event Food accompanying the wine was plentiful and of very good quality, particularly the Caponata Slightly disappointed with the quality of the wine but a very enjoyable experience overall

Loved it! Brief but interesting local history and tour of vineyard and wine making process. Guide was knowledgeable and passionate and gave us a lot of information without being too nerdy! Then back to the hotel/restaurant garden for tastings of four wines from the vineyard and a really delicious lunch. A lovely insight into history and wine and we met some interesting people as well.

An amazing experience from learning about the history behind the vineyard & Sicily in general, and then having a lazy wine tasting & Sicilian lunch in the beautiful courtyard of the nearby hotel. Our guide Hector was welcoming, knowledgeable & passionate about what he does. I would Definately recommend this as a 10/10 activity if you are in the area.

We started the tour at the winery, where the wine-making process and the history of the estate were explained to us thoroughly. Then went on to the hotel-turned villa where we had several Sicilian dishes and wines. The entire experience was magical. The location was straight out of a summery Sicilian fairytale. The wines and the food were truly exquisite and I dare say the best I had ever tasted. Our guide made all of these experiences a hundred times better, offering knowledge and warm conversations. I highly recommend this for anyone traveling to Sicily. Truly, one of my favorite experiences and I know it will become one of my fondest memories of the island. My only regret is not taking enough picture :')

We were a group of 10 close friends doing this tour for a Thursday-activity. We had the most amazing time visiting chiarelli rossotti winery. Our guide, Ettore, gave us knowlegde, jokes and new perspectives. Perfect ending at their local, authentic and cozy hotel with lunch paired with their wines. Perfect if you are a group.
