Tropea: Calabrian Cooking Class with Wine and Sea-View Dinner

This cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Calabria. Maria welcomed us like family and shared her passion for authentic Calabrian cuisine with such warmth, patience, and pride. Coming from a Calabrian family myself, every dish was deeply nostalgic, bringing back cherished memories of the meals I grew up enjoying. It was a truly special way to reconnect with my heritage. The hospitality shown by everyone was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, and it was clear how much love and care goes into preserving and sharing these traditions. We also loved meeting the farm animals and learning about the history of the land and the family's story. It added such a meaningful cultural element to an already unforgettable experience.
