We had an amazing day with our guide, Alex. He took us thru the parks and quiet areas of the city to visit ancient catacombs, the Appian Way, and famous aquaeducts. The bikes themselves were perfect in every way, and lunch was at a hidden spot away from tourists. We would definitely suggest this tour to anyone visiting Rome!

Everything was nice, Our guide was “molto sympatico”, friendly, with a sense of humour, he paid attention to our personality and our needs, interests. Lots of anecdotes about Rome, its history, its specialties. We could ask our questions and felt at ease to do it, because the atmosphere was really chill and nice. I am not a big sportive woman but could easily follow the group of biking. I am writing that because at the moment to choose an activity to plan, you can ask yourself : how will the activity take place, is it reliable, is it honest and will it be nice ? We had an amazing experience on the Appian Way e-bike tour in Rome, even though it was pouring rain that day. Our guide, Alex, was absolutely fantastic. He constantly checked on us to make sure we were okay and comfortable, which made a huge difference. At first, I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to finish the tour, especially riding in the rain with my husband. But Alex gave me so much encouragement and confidence, and thanks to him, I pushed through and completed the tour. It felt incredibly rewarding and made me feel really proud of myself. Despite the heavy rain, the experience turned out to be even more special and enjoyable. The scenery, the quiet Appian Way, and Alex’s positive attitude made it unforgettable. This was a really wonderful thing to do, and I highly recommend it. A wonderful way to see the city and experience some lovely places. The only downside was we tended to fly past the beautiful places on the bikes and I would have appreciated more opportunities to pause and appreciate them (I actually returned the next day so I could!) I also noticed the other tour groups have a microphone system so it doesn't matter how far away from the guide you can still hear them. I think this would be helpful for this tour especially, because a few times our lovely guide would gesture and tell some of the people at the front to look out for something as we rode - and I couldn't hear at all.
