Trieste: 2.5-Hour Prosecco Origins Tour and Tastings

Wunderbare Weintour! Es gab nicht nur guten Wein, sondern auch interessante Infos zur Geschichte von Canvanello. Unsere Guide war sympathisch und hat mit Begeisterung durch die Tour geführt. Zur Weinverkostung gab es regionale Köstlichkeiten von der Nachbarin. Die Aussicht über das Meer und auf Triest war einfach traumhaft. Das Weingut selbst ist wunderschön und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Würde ich jederzeit wieder machen!

The tour was great! Katrin gives you a brief review of the history of the place before you come to her winery where she produces her own wine. she explains whats the difference in the process while you get local food to taste, and also shows you the cellar, and you get to taste with an amazing view. you can feel her passion for wine making and we had such an amazing time! would absolutely reccomend!

The hostess was lovely and captivating with her story of not only the wine and wine making process, but the history of the region seen through her family as well. The tour includes a short walk with a bit of an incline including both dirt and paved roads with some stairs, broken up by the hostess' storytelling. The food and wine were abundant and beautifully picked by the hostess for our group to enjoy with the truly breathtaking view! Would absolutely recommend!

Fantastic! The small group of eight lent itself to fun conversations. Kathrin captivated us with great history, familial story-telling, the challenges of wine making on terraced steps, and tasty local meats and cheeses. It is the high light of my visit in Trieste. The tasting took place on her gardened terrace above the wine cellar, overlooking the Adriatic sea at a lovely set table, fairy lights and cool breeze. I would totally recommend it!

We visit the prosecco tour, katrin is the perfect host. She told us about the history about Trieste and surroundings. We did a little tour true the town, arriving at the vineyard, she served us several wines, water and food. She explained how she started and why. Good amount of wine and food. She is very lovely and passionate about what she is doing. When we come back we will definitely come back and try the new batch of her wine.

One of the highlights of my trip. I was on this trip solo and was able to meet a few new people. The tastings are set up in a way that you share a table with everyone attending. The guide (I can’t recall her name) was exceptional. Told us a lot about the history of the land where her vineyard lays. Her wine was also amazing! The rosé was my favorite. She was very sweet and truly made this tasting a wonderful experience. In addition to the wine she fed us bread that she prepared that morning, cheese from one of her friends, and different meats with fresh herbs. 10/10 would recommend. Beautiful vineyard, beautiful guide, again one of my favorite experiences.
