Hands-On Pasta Making Class in Sorrento

We had the most amazing evening - we started with some red wine, olive oil and focaccia whilst we had a demonstration of how to make fresh mozzarella. We then went on to make our own eggplant parmigiana and Ravioli, our teacher Maria was outstanding, carefully guiding us through all the steps and providing help when/if needed. Thank you so much to everyone involved and a special thanks to Maria! We had the best night and thank you so much for teaching us how to make authentic pasta!

My daughter and I enjoyed the class, which was very organised and well prepared for. The tutors were very friendly and helpful. We made 2 dishes, aubergine parmigiana and ravioli Caprese which we ate for lunch with a bottle of wine. Before the class there was a demonstration of mozzarella making which we got to taste along with flavoured olive oils. We found the class very sociable, we enjoyed meeting our classmates! We also left feeling confident we could make the dishes again at home.

I booked this cooking class ahead of time as this was very recommended. As soon as we got there everyone who was also cooking were so nice and friendly so I had a good time with talking to them the cooking was very rushed and we only made a small portion for ourselves with very basic ingredients the oil and mozzarella tasting was perfect and the women was nice but when we started cooking it was very rushed and some people didn’t even get to make the pasta themselves we then got told to leave really soon after eating while we were still cooking which I understand other people might come in but 3 hours wasn’t even up and the women was quite rude. Once we got on bus the man placed wobbly stool Inbetween the two seats in the front of the cab for my 14 yr old to sit on but once we realised the seat wasn’t even stuck onto the flooring and that there was no seatbelt provided he had already driven off very fast the driving was terrible I wouldn’t say it was worth the £300.just google tutorials

Sehr gute Kochkurs, sehr nette Lehrer! Das Glas Wein zu Beginn war ein zu einem Achtel gefüllter Plastikbecher und als wie fertig gegessen hatten, wurde uns unmittelbar danach der Teller weggezogen und wir sofort wieder ins Auto verfrachtet . Alles zusammen mit Transport hat dann keine 2,5 Stunden gedauert. Das fand ich schade, es gab 3 Gänge und alles wirkte sehr gestresst so.

It was good and the food was great. They rushed us out, tour says will be 3 hours it only took 1.5 hours and they did a lot of the cooking for us. Not great but it was the only last minute opportunity available, in the future I would plan in advance and book a different company, but this was not bad. The older man made the experience fun where as the lady who was teaching us tried to rush us through the process
