  Gianni was the most thoughtful, knowledge, and kind guide we could have asked for. He is a wealth of knowledge and went over the top to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We left the tour learning more about Florence’s rich history, the history of Tuscany and chianti that tied in with wine culture, and an appreciation for being able to step foot in and taste some of Italy’s finest to offer. We cannot be more appreciative of the day we had on this tour.

  We had an excellent day with Gianni! He picked us up in a nice sprinter van with air conditioning and off we went to explore the Tuscan countryside. He was very kind and generous with his knowledge, engaging all of us (including our young children) with the history of the region, interesting facts, and fun side quests. He tailored the tour to us (I'm a vegetarian so he kindly omitted the visit to the butcher and added another fun stop) and took us to a number of places that were not at all crowded with tourists and allowed us to get a more local experience. I cannot say enough good things about Gianni - highly recommend booking with him if you'd like a day to learn, laugh, and enjoy excellent wine with incredible views.
