Venice: Rialto Market Tour, Hands-On Cooking Class & Wine-Paired Lunch

This was an activity purchased for my wife and oldest son, who both commented on how enjoyable the activity was, from shopping at the Rialto market to the warmth of cooking a Venetian meal alongside a chef to guide them. They would both recommend it highly.

The experience was extraordinary and just what we were looking for! Highly recommended!!

Excellent experience. The market tour provided a great introduction to many ingredients. The menu was excellent and the chef was very accommodating of various food preferences. We enjoyed the hands-on cooking class and the food was delicious.

We loved Lorenzo - he was kind, informative & a great host. The only thing that made it a bit challenging was the space - we had to take turns with cooking activities which was awkward at times & could be more fun if we could have been chopping or mixing at the same time. We would still do it again - just wish there was more space.

Great activity with Lorenzo. We were the only two in the booking so felt like we had a special event and experience. Very casual and very friendly, learned a lot and of course got to eat our own cooking. Very cool and would recommend to others. Certainly one of the greater highlights of our visit.

Super Event. Zuerst gemeinsames Einkaufen auf dem Markt, wir konnten selber wählen, was wir kochen wollen. Dann Kochen unter fachkundiger Anleitung. Alles war extrem lecker. Tolle kurzweilige 4 h. Kochlehrer war sehr fachkundig und wir haben uns sehr gut unterhalten. Vielen Dank dafür.

I liked that it was held in a regular kitchen instead of a commercial kitchen and I thought that the tour of the market was very informative.

This was a fun, interesting, and tasty event. Lorenzo was well prepared and very organized. He welcomed us into his home and instructed us on how to make authentic Venetian pasta from scratch. He was a great teacher, personable and fun-loving.
