Mount Etna Half-Day 4x4 Jeep Tour

Fabrizio was one of the best guides we have EVER encountered and we have done many tours. The jeep ride was amazing and such a fun ride. He was so very sweet to my elderly father and his wife making sure that they got a great tour without putting them in danger or making them walk too far. He was also great our teenagers making it a fun ride with a bit of adventure!. He is so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about helping us get to this know the volcano!!! He clearly has a deep passion for the beauty and uniqueness of Etna. We learned so much but in a fun and easy way. I would and will highly recommend him. We could have stayed all day!

Il paesaggio è davvero unico e suggestivo, ma ciò che ha reso la visita ancora più speciale è stata la nostra guida, Fabrizio, che ci ha accompagnato con grande professionalità, rendendo la giornata interessante e piacevole. Abbiamo imparato tantissimo sui vulcani e sul territorio, senza mai annoiarci. Un’escursione che consiglio a tutti!

The whole experience was fantastic! Fabrizio is a fantastic guide who is clearly passionate about his work. He shared lots of interesting information about Etna’s formation, the flora and fauna, and the history and geography of the area. He also had us laughing many times. The off-road sections of the ride (which was most of them) in the Land Rover were exciting and had most of our group gleefully laughing as we bounced around over the large rocks, especially the children in the back seats. We even pulled up to sample some ripe blackberries right from the bush. From plunging deep into a lesser-known lava cave (the caves off of the main road were clearly crowded), to learning about the Ox Valley, and walking around two of the lateral craters, the tour was the highlight of our holiday. We had seriously considered a hiking tour or an ATV tour instead, but due to the extreme heat and potentially changeable weather, we went with this and are so glad we did - it was the perfect balance. The jeep tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily! Fabrizio did a wonderful job explaining the history of Mt Etna, the volcanic craters, and the agriculture tied to the area. Riding in the jeep was a fun experience that included taking the back road up Mt Etna, checking out an underground cave, and stopping along the way at the main scenic sights. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in touring Mt Etna!

Nous avons passé une journée incroyable lors de notre excursion sur l’Etna ! Le paysage était à couper le souffle, avec des vues impressionnantes sur les coulées de lave anciennes et les cratères actifs. Notre guide a vraiment fait toute la différence : il parlait un anglais impeccable et a su nous captiver avec ses explications détaillées sur l’histoire géologique et les éruptions du volcan. Sa passion pour la région était contagieuse, et nous avons appris tellement de choses en explorant ce site naturel unique. Une expérience inoubliable !

Fabrizio was fantastic. Very welcoming and knowledgeable about the geology, wildlife and fauna. Excellent English. We explored a lava ‘cave’, the Ox valley and some older craters. Jackets and walking boots were provided for us so we felt very comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a more informative tour of the Etna park. Fabrizio even recommended someone where for us to get lunch after. 5/5.
