Siena: Food and Wine Walking Tour - Taste Authentic Tuscan Flavors

Elio was an amazing guide. Meeting at a wine shop, he took time to tell us so many facts about Italian (in general) and local wines as well as balsamic and oils. We had bruschetta, meats and cheeses, with our wines. Went out for locale food and gelato before coming back for dessert. Elio was very knowledgeable, spoke English well and had a great sense of humor. I’d recommend his tour, especially if you’re new to wine!

We couldn’t have asked for better. Elio was an incredible guide, teacher, and sommelier. We had a selection of cheeses, cold cuts, and bruschettas to sample along with our wines as Elio told us about the history of each wine as well as facts about each region. We then went on a walking tour of Siena where Elio showed us some great local street foods and sweets. He also told us a lot of history about the town of Siena. We then returned to the Tuscan Wine School for a sweet wine. We couldn’t be happier with the service from Elio and the other staff members, as well as the incredible food and wine.
