Lake Como: Classic Boat Private Tour

No guide during the tour, we stopped in 1 place. Didn’t even offer water, we had to ask 35 degrees heat. and we got back before the 2 hours were completed. No indication of what villas we were gonna see it. just ride in and out with no explanation of anything. Also the floor is extremely hot and is mandatory to remove your shoes. No sleepers were offered. Absolutely not worth a 600 euros. The boat is nice but u don’t feel u r in a luxury experience.

Worst experience of our Lake Como trip. We paid €700–800 for a PRIVATE 2-hour boat tour. We wanted to enjoy the lake and make 2 short stops for photos. After only 10 minutes at the first stop, we were already being rushed to leave because it was "too hot". It was windy, wavy and difficult to take photos, but apparently that was already too much. When I asked to go back to a villa he didn't properly stop at, the comments started: "I'm not a photographer." "Other clients are interested in villa history, not photos." "You should have booked a photography tour." We NEVER asked him to take photos. After that it was constant attitude, comments and arguments. We felt like an inconvenience, not paying customers. Our mood was completely ruined, so we asked to go back early. We paid for 2 hours and left after only 1h20. All our friends booked similar Lake Como tours and had amazing experiences. We got the complete opposite. If you hate people, change your job.

Our private boat tour on Lake Como was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized and punctual from start to finish, which made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. The classic wooden boat was absolutely beautiful and added so much charm to the tour. We loved cruising across the lake while taking in the stunning villas, mountains, and lakeside towns. The sights were very thoughtfully chosen, and we got to see some of the most picturesque parts of Como. A special thank you to our guide, Miguel, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He shared interesting stories and local history throughout the tour, making the experience even more memorable. Without a doubt, this is the best way to enjoy Lake Como. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
