Rome: Colosseum, Roman Forum & Trajan's Market Exterior Tour

Despite buying the arena floor access, we were not able to go down there. The agency said there were new owners at the colosseum who wouldn't sell the access tickets. We were refunded 10 euros per person, which was nice, but it was still disappointing. The guide was great and very knowledgeable. She clearly cares about the guests, demonstrating this when she spent 10 minutes of the tour trying to help one of the patrons get back their beloved belt from Costco that they forgot in the security line. All in all it was fine, the things that went wrong were out of the agencies control. Heads up, the meeting point is a 10 min walk from the colosseum, so be sure you have the right location.

This tour is a must on your trip to Rome!! Our guide Tanya was amazing- extremely knowledgeable, funny and passionate. She really brought the experience to life! Thank you Tanya. Despite the unexpected closure of the Roman Forum, Tanya went above and beyond to ensure we got to see it from the best vantage points. I would definitely recommend this tour on your visit to Rome.
