From Positano: Guided Tour of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius

Communications was poor by driver. Really gave no help with idea of timing , length and made zero mention of lunch options between 740 and 300. The driver told us nothing of what to expect on the hike to Vesuvius and that there were shops along the way. took 12 tours in italy and this was the poorest run and Communications was poor by every person.

Our guide Frankie was such an engaging and knowledgeable gem! He is an archeologist with expansive knowledge on not only Pompeii but the larger Roman community. While taking us around, he deftly painted a picture of Roman life at the time, giving context to what we were seeing, took a lot of time to answer each one of our questions, and provided fascinating insights and a smaller, more intimate Pompeii experience. We highly recommend that you go to Pompeii with Frankie, because he truly enhances the experience. Our driver, Simon, picked us up and dropped us off in our small town on the Amalfi coast, about 2 hours away from Pompeii. The transportation service and communication really distinguished this package from the other options we looked at and greatly enhanced our overall experience and comfort. Transport to and from Vesuvius after Pompei was also very smooth and well-organized. We highly recommend this experience for groups in Positano or small towns in the Amalfi region.
