Venice: Secret City Gardens Walking Tour

Die beiden ersten Gärten waren okay Der dritte war öffentlich und auch nicht schön. 70 € war es auf keinen Fall wert. Leider hat der Tourguide den Fehler gemacht den Viele machen. Er läuft vorne weg, beschäftigt sich mit seinem Handy und bekommt nicht mit wenn es jemanden zu schnell ist. Mit 66 Jahren ist man nicht bereit sich wie ein Viertklässler dirigieren zu lassen. Da fühlt man sich nicht respektiert.

Valerio was a great guide. Highly knowledgeable, funny and friendly. This is a great walking tour for a few hours to see some hidden gardens each unique in their own way. Highly recommend for anyone visiting, and a great option even in the summer when it is hotter as the e gardens provide shade for the majority of the tour except for a few of the walks in between each. 10/10

Great tour and vey talented/knowledgable guide. For me the walking was a bit too much and I had to skip the 3rd of four gardens. It was an extremely hot day and we'd spent nearly an hour travelling to the meeting point. Still a rather special treat of gardens normally cut off from the public. Highly recommended. (just make sure you can do the walking in the heat.)

This was a well-organised and enjoyable experience, suitable for those with a good understanding of gardening and plants. Valerio is a wonderful raconteur - he considers his audience carefully, and sprinkles enlightening cultural and historical anecdotes among the gardening talk. He does a number of specialist tours, and next time we're in Venice, we'll be contacting him again.
