Private Luxury Tour: Cinque Terre Highlights from La Spezia

Was not taken on the tour we booked and paid for. Even after we pointed this out did they try to fix it blaming this and that. Guide we had was knowledgeable and nice so he is the only one getting a star. BIG SCAM!!! Booked the full day private cinque terre including ALL 5 villages with private van, guide , driver, train ride , boat ride etc. what we got was a guide taking us by public train for ALL segments to 3 villages. We walked 25000 steps that day, which was not the problem. But the convenient 30 minute ride in a private van to village turned into a 30 minute walk to the train station to take the train with a few thousand other people, wait in line to buy tickets and then travel straight to village number 2 . We were 2 hours into our tour when we arrived at our first stop. NOT what we paid €700 for. No offer of compensation yet. And don’t give me the crap of taxi strike. Be bought a tour with a private driver and a private car and a private guide. Bad bad bad company

With the guidance of Francesco, our small group (two couples) was able to tour the Cinque Terre towns. Francesco's tour offered pick up & drop off at the cruise terminal, allowing us to make the most of the time we had in port. The day was beautiful/sunny, but the ferry was not running between all of the towns, so we had to skip that experience. Don't be disappointed if that happens for your tour because the train saves time (important when you are just visiting on port day from cruise ship). Wish we could have spent a couple of days visiting this beautiful National Park!

This is a GREAT tour! We were taken by our guide, Francesco, all around the Cinque Terre. He provided information about the different areas we visited, including olive oil, pasta types, and pesto. He tailored the speed and the amount of information to perfection. We HIGHLY recommend exploring Cinque Terre with a guide - especially Francesco!
