Amarone Half-Day Wine Tasting Tour from Verona

We would give 10 stars if we could! Our tour guy and Michaela was wonderful as was our wine tasting at Zardo Vinyard with Andrea. We tried five different wines along with a really delicious charcuterie board with cheese and Italian salami. An additional bonus was this local mustard made from strong mustard seed and apple apples. Really delicious and nicely spicy. We bought some wine, a chunk of vacuum, packed local cheese, as well as a jar of the delicious mustard. Highly recommended.

Michaela was an excellent guide throughout the whole trip and an excellent driver (rewards should be given for threading the needle like she did on those narrow roads). She gave very informative commentary on every aspect of the tour, the wineries in the area and specifically the wines in the winery we visited. Sophie (I think) was also amazing and energetic bundle of joy. If you are looking for a small intimate group visit to an excellent winery, this is the one to choose❤️

Excellent, easy to book and all info on website was accurate & matched the experience. An extremely hot day, hotter than usual at this time of year, and the walk to the view point & church was a little warm in the heat. The journey to the winery was challenging for our driver due to road resurfacing & having to wait but she coped well. The actual experience at the vineyard was excellent, hosted by Marta & informative with beautiful wines. An absolutely great way to spend time around Verona.

Unfortunately, we picked a day with poor weather, but Anna, our guide was simply charming, charming, charming. An excellent driver too I might say. We loved meeting Marco at the winery and his wine was exemplary.! Luckily we had the opportunity to buy it directly from him and we look forward to enjoying the memories of our visit while enjoying some at home. Thank you again. We six couldn’t recommend Anna more.

Very family-like experience, which we greatly enjoyed. We had a group of five people + our lovely guide, who had lots of knowledgement of wine industry. We got to visit one of the smallest wineries where our host showed us processes of winemaking. Tasted four different wines, all really good. Easily the best experience in our world of winetastings. Be warned that you might want to ditch your excessive shoes just to fit more wine bottles in your suitcase. Great value for money (and shoes)!
