Before you go

Good to know

We run in light rain, but we cancel with full refund if heavy rain floods the fish market, or if overnight storms keep the boats in harbour and there is no fresh fish. Without fish, half the experience is missing – we won’t run a reduced tour.
Walking is easy: about 1 km (0.62 miles / ∼3,280 feet), mostly standing, on uneven 1669 lava stone. We do not enter monuments (Certified Naturalistic Guide + BLSD first aid).
Meeting point: Via Giuseppe Garibaldi 15, Catania (1 min walk from Piazza Duomo). Arrive 5 minutes early.
Timing: shared tours start on time – very small delays are tolerated because you are not alone. Private tours can start anytime between 08:00 and 12:00 if arranged in advance. Earlier or later does not work due to market hours and other bookings.
