Puglian Cooking Class in a Historic Brindisi Home

Lovely relaxing way to spend a few hours. Plenty of food and wine, made our own pasta and the wine, fruit and vegetables came from the family farm.

Family and fun

We loved learning many things: a little Italian, the genealogy of our host family, and how to make pasta. The atmosphere was very family style and friendly. We met our host’s mother, grandmother, father, cousin and son. We had fun meeting other cooking students. It was a lovely cultural and gastronomic event.

Het is een erg leuke sfeervolle locatie. De kookworkshop wordt gegeven door enthousiaste mensen die met veel passie je pasta leren maken. We hebben zelf met veel plezier verse pasta gemaakt. Wat wel jammer was, is dat we geen voorgerecht en dessert zelf hebben gemaakt.

het was een hele leuke workshop. De gids was zo leuk en aardig. de pasta werd heerlijk bereid. we hebben het als zeer leuk ervaren enorme gastvrijheid. echt de moeite waard om te ondernemen.

Wonderful, welcoming host. She shared back round of family history in Brindisi. 4th generation working the farm, city store/restaurant. Delicious meal, plenty of variety, well seasoned. I was looking for something that was unique to Puglia. This dinner was so special! A rustic, vegetarian meal, with a dozen appetizer portions and pasta course. And generous pours of wine!! The hostess was so friendly and enthusiastic. This was the best experience of my trip to Italy!!!

Ich habe es sehr geschätzt, dass ich als einziger Gast trotzdem an diesem Nachtessen teilnehmen konnte. Velia hat mir alles erklärt und mich mit vielen verschiedenen Speisen verwöhnt. Da ich alleinwar, ging allesein bisschenzu schnell, ich habein kurzerZeitsehr vielgegessen. Den Ausflug kann ich aber sehr empfehlen.
