Verona: Hop-on Hop-off Tour 24 or 48-Hour Ticket

Our guide and friendly driver Michalis picked us up from our hotel in Paphos. The experience for the day ahead was centred around the Trodos mountain range. We saw fields of peanut and avocado plantation, 700 years old olive tree, water reservoir, venetian bridge, monastery, the peak of Trodos mountain , villages and churches. The trip was a mixture of driving and short walks and wonderings . Michalis was very friendly , curious , funny and the general vibe of the tour was great. We also get to know our fellow passangers throughout the day so we became no strangers after a while. Well paced stops for refreshments and toilets. Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant with reasonable prices and good portions. The tour is clearly guided (you always know what is happening) besides the jokes :), and lots of information is provided about the island. For me the only step for perfection would have been a little longer walks, however in that case we would have missed out on other things. Thanks .

We found this extremely good value considering how big the area was that it covered. Also, it was raining towards the end of the trip. The open top was covered by a canopy so we still benefited staying dry on red route top deck. The blue tour bus stopped whilst we took photos at the highest point. We have booked it again, as walking to the gardens would be impossible. And want to stop at a few more places. Wish I would have bought a 48 hr ticket. Knowing how useful it was.

Booth red and blue routes are excellent value for money and provide a great insight to Verona. If you can then select the 48 hour ticket as it is impossible to view all the sights in one day without rushing around. Bus is comfortable and not to over crowded with helpful booking staff. The voice guide had an issue on the blue route which was a smaller bus as the audio was scratchy. Overall a very good experience.
